Maya & Charles are insane amounts of fun. 

We laughed so hard together at their engagement session! They are fun, full of life, and easy to hang out with. 

We took a short drive up to Evergreen, CO for their Colorado mountain engagement session. Keeping things natural, simple, and outdoors fit them perfectly! 

Maya & Charles wanted to highlight their own Broncos-Cowboys rivalry, and wore their favorite jerseys for the more casual part of their engagement session. 

Their mismatched football jerseys gave them an opportunity to share something they have in common (Football), while still honoring each individual.

SURPRISE! 

Yes we touched on casual to start the session, but then they dressed things up. I love seeing the transformation here! Weekend casual to elegance and romance. Her white dress with black detail added beautiful texture, while his vest was a solid, fashionable move that we don’t see often for engagement sessions.

More laughter ensued, of course! 

Charles is a manager at Wells Fargo, and Maya works with horses in Castle Rock (seriously, how awesome is that?). We met through a networking group; I’ve done photos for Maya’s family, so being a part of their wedding was a natural fit.

Maya and Charles are getting married at the Wedgewood Ken Caryl. 

I suspect that the wedding will be as fun and full of love as they are!

We finished their Colorado engagement session in Evergreen with a few romantic photos next to an old barn. When I photograph couples before their wedding, my focus is not only on getting to know them, but on creating a gallery of images full of variety, candid moments, classic moments, and romance.
